Meet the Ministry Team
Grant Ray has been the senior minister at RCC since 2009. He is a 1991 graduate of Lincoln Christian University with a BA in Church and Family Life Education, and completed his MA in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary in 2008. He is married to Brenda, an interpreter for the deaf, and together they have four children: Gattlin, Keenan, McKinley, and Josiah. Grant comes with a background in the music industry and has served in the long-term care industry as well as serving as minister in churches in the Chicagoland area prior to coming to Riverton.
Tim Harris has been the full-time youth minister at RCC since 2006. He started as a volunteer working with the middle school age group in 2003. He graduated from UIS in 2005 with a teaching certificate in secondary education and a minor in Biology. He is currently working on a MAC from Lincoln Christian University. Tim is married to Amy and they currently have three boys, Jack and Joshua, and Jarred. He has been known to set fire to ships (made out of cardboard boxes), design crafty marshmallow guns, stay up all night praying, and much more in order to make that vital connection with youth.
Cindy Moore has been the secretary at the church since 2001. Prior to that time, she served as secretary to Riverton Christian Academy, the school ministry of RCC. She has a background in the music industry and is currently actively involved in the church's praise team. She is married to Mike, who also serves in numerous capacities in the church family, and together they have three children: Dalton, Austin, and Mackenzie.
